Ms. Rutz
Ms. Rutz graduated from Metropolitan State University in Denver, Colorado in December of 2016. There she earned a Bachelor's Degree in Human Performance and Sport with an emphasis in K-12 Physical Education and Health.
Ms. Rutz taught as a substitute in the Cherry Creek School District before she was hired full time, at Cherry Creek Academy, as the Physical Education Teacher. This will be Ms. Rutz 5th year teaching and coaching here at CCA.
She has a beautiful 4th grader here at CCA. Ms. Rutz loves to coach and play volleyball. She also enjoys teaching and participating in sports every day with her classes. She cannot wait to see all of you.
Ms. Rutz centers her teaching philosophy around the adage of doing things smarter, not harder. She wants students to understand physical education is more than learning sports, it is a way to learn how to be physically active throughout an active lifestyle. Students will learn to be well rounded through the six dimensions of wellness.
