Athletics at Cherry Creek Academy
We offer several sports at Cherry Creek Academy to middle school students in grades 5-8: boys and girls soccer, boys and girls volleyball, boys and girls basketball, co-ed cross country, co-ed football and Esports. Sports require a minimum number of students to register in order to have a team. Teams have the option to break into both junior varsity and varsity teams to better tailor practices to the player's level and skill. Practices are typically held after school from 3:30-4:45pm Monday - Thursday, though some sports may have varied schedules due to games and coach availability. Athletics at Cherry Creek Academy offers a diversity of sports for our middle school students at a wide range of skills and levels. We believe that participation in athletics at the middle school level offers a number of invaluable lessons that correspond with our Eagle Traits here at CCA.

Sports Registration Process
The official start date for each season is subject to change based on playoff implications from the previous season. Please use the CCA website for the most up-to-date information and start times. Before practice, guardians must fill out the proper registration form and pay for the upcoming season. Please do not register or pay for a sport until that registration opens for that season.
Payment for sports:
Each sport requires a participation fee of $150. After registration, select the sport you wish to pay for in Revtrak. You may also write a check to Cherry Creek Academy Charter for the same amount.
Athletic Director
Mr. Mahan has been our Athletic Director since 2017. He brings his love and passion for all sports as well as a focus on creating meaningful athletic experiences for our middle school students. Please feel free to reach out to him with any questions.
