5-8 Extended Tutorial

Led by Mr. Eric Gaulden

I have experience teaching Math and ELA, and look forward to supporting our middle school students. I believe that beginning and ending the week with the Extended Tutorial will allow students to tackle the week ahead with preparation, and end the week with confidence.

5-8th Grade Extended Tutorial Description

In the Extended Tutorial, Middle School students will be able to work on homework or projects in a structured environment with the support of Mr. Gaulden, our 7th and 8th grade Writing teacher. Students will not only complete work, but practice organization and self-advocacy skills.

 

In addition to completing homework, students will also have a chance to practice their reading or math skills with individualized i-Ready lessons, based on their August 2025 i-Ready Assessment.

 

If your child is one or more grade level below what is expected based on i-Ready, then we would strongly encourage you to sign up for the Extended Tutorial.

 

Mr. Gaulden will offer direct support for English Language Arts while also working with the rest of the Middle School team in order to understand the expectations for the assignments in each class so that he can support all students in all classes.
