7/8 Writing Club
Led by Mr. Eric Gaulden
I have been writing stories and poems since childhood, and have been revising and editing professionally since 2013. When I was in Middle School, my teachers fostered my writing abilities, and I am so excited to foster the passions and talents of the young writers at CCA.
7th and 8th Grade Writing Club Description
In our 7/8 Writing Club, students will learn to write and edit both poetry and short stories. Our club culminates with the publication of "Transcendent Tales," in which we collect the stories and poems written by our students.
Cost
There is no cost associated with Writing Club!
Schedule
Writing will meet in Mr. Gaulden’s room each Tuesday from 3:45 to 4:45 PM. The club will run twice, from September - December, and then again from January - May. In case of unforeseen circumstances, communication will be sent to students and parents as far in advance as possible.

Transcendent Tales
I am so proud to present Volume 7 of Cherry Creek Academy’s student created literary magazine, “Transcendent Tales.” This magazine is entirely student driven, and all of the poems and stories within have been written and edited by the creative and talented minds of CCA. In this volume, we opened our magazine to submissions from 5th and 6th graders, and I was so impressed with the passion and aptitude of our younger writers.
