Ms. Jacki Nusbaum
Hello CCA families! I'm Jacki Nusbaum. Let me tell you a little about myself. I grew up on a farm in Iowa, and after graduating from Iowa State, I moved out here to beautiful Colorado to begin teaching. I've taught in a Core Knowledge charter school my whole career. I've taught 4th grade for three years, 2nd grade for eleven years, 1st grade for two years, and this will be my second year in kindergarten. I love my Cherry Creek Academy community!
My husband and I have two fun-loving kids, Blake and Josi, two mischievous cats, and a big Swiss Mountain dog. Several of my hobbies are hiking, gardening, scuba diving, fishing, traveling, and reading.
I believe students learn and thrive the most when there is a team effort among the teacher, the parents, and the students. This relationship requires mutual cooperation, participation, respect, and responsibility. I believe it is important to help every student find confidence and joy in their learning.
