Biography

Ms. Wong is originally from Grayslake, Illinois, but has been living in Colorado for the last three years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Northwestern - St. Paul and a Master’s in Teaching from the University of Northern Colorado. This is Ms. Wong's second year at CCA, and she is very excited to continue as the 2nd-8th grade technology teacher. In her spare time, she enjoys running, baking, reading, and traveling to new places.

Teaching Philosophy

Ms. Wong believes in creating a learning environment that celebrates each student’s diverse background, gifts, and learning styles. She values having strong relationships with each of her students and making them feel cared for, respected, and supported in the classroom. She also holds high expectations for her students and looks for ways to challenge them and help them reach their full potential. Ms. Wong’s goal for her students this year is to teach them about the importance of technology and how to use it to help support learning both inside and outside the classroom.
