Hello, my name is Karen Lewis. Before becoming the nurse at Cherry Creek Academy this year, I was a school nurse in Douglas County for the past 7 years. Prior to that, I worked as a school nurse in Massachusetts for 19 years. Over the years, I have had the pleasure of working in many different school communities and have had experience working at every grade level. I absolutely love what I do and I am looking forward to continuing my career at CCA. My education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a Master’s Degree in Education from UMass Boston. In my spare time, I love spending time with my family, hiking, biking, skiing, paddle boarding and just spending time outdoors in this beautiful state. I am looking forward to working with your children to make sure their medical needs are met here at school.
