Hello! My name is Suzana Niles and I am very happy to have joined this wonderful community of CCA. As a lunch supervisor, I get to be with and know all the students and connect with each one of them, which is a lot of fun! I was an elementary, Spanish, reading and ESL teacher for more than 30 years, many of them in various locations around Denver before retiring in 2014. Besides the USA, I have lived and taught in Brasil (my native homeland), Japan, and the UAE. Working in different countries as a teacher gave me a love for learning about other cultures, languages, and backgrounds. I really enjoy the fact the CCA has so much cultural diversity within its students and families! 

I’m a mother to two adult sons and a grandmother to a wonderful 6 year old. I spend a lot of time with him, and we enjoy all kinds of activities, from academics to playing. He also teaches me a lot! 

In my free time, I enjoy reading (my passion), swimming, watching documentaries about animals (another passion), cooking healthy foods, speaking with my family, and being with my winnie (my miniature dachshund), Iota.
