Staff Profile

Hello! My name is Jane Andrus and I have been at CCA for over twenty years. My husband Dan and I are one of the first families that helped start this wonderful school in 1995. We have lived here since graduating college in Kentucky. We moved back to Colorado since my husband was a native and we have loved being here ever since. Besides my family of four, teaching has been my passion. I have had several different teaching roles since starting in 2000. My first position was doing specials for Kindergarten and first grade. Then I taught first grade for 5 years and second grade for 2 years before moving into reading intervention. Reading is something that I have always loved and know how important it is. Over the course of my career, I have taken many classes to enhance and gain knowledge in the concepts of reading. I love helping students learn and grow in reading and encouraging them along the way. CCA is a wonderful school and I am happy to be here.
