Staff Profile

I grew up just outside of NYC across the river in northern NJ.  I grew up in a musical family. My father, who was the youngest of 9, played in a band every Saturday night from age 16 until 64. All his siblings were musical. There was always music when our family got together.  I sang my first solo at age 5, at 14 I joined an adult church choir and I have never stopped singing. My musical highlights include singing the National Anthem on the field with my H.S. band for home games, singing in the chorus of the opera Nabucco in Central Park, NYC, recording a Christmas CD in a studio with friends to raise money for charity and being a paid singer in the chorus of 6 professional operas here in Denver.  I've sung for many weddings and funerals. Singing has been the best part time job I have ever had because I love it.  My life would be empty without music. I look forward to making music with the students at CCA.
