Biography

Mr. Gunning grew up in Denver. After graduating with his Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science and Physical Geography from CU Boulder, he worked for 4 years in the environmental consulting industry, monitoring groundwater and operating groundwater treatment systems. He earned his teaching license and Master's degree in Curriculum & Instruction - Secondary Science through CU Denver.

Teaching Philosophy

Mr. Gunning believes that learning science should be fun, exciting, and build on students innate curiosity. He strives to equally emphasize doing science, thinking science, and talking science.
