Hello CCA families! This is my third year at our wonderful community, CCA. I am so excited to continue Reading Intervention this year. Before transitioning to Reading Intervention, I taught 6th grade at an alternative school for at-risk youth, third grade in La Junta, CO, and first grade here at CCA. Reading has always been my favorite subject area and I enjoy working with small groups so that I'm able to focus on the individual needs of students and can develop deep relationships with them. I believe every child has the ability to become a good reader! I graduated in 2018 from Adams State University with a B.A. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in literacy. I am proud to be an Adams State alumni along with my mother and two sisters. In my free time, I enjoy spending time in the mountains four-wheeling with my family, walking my dog, Roz, or diving into a good fantasy novel. I'm so excited to work with students this school year!
