CCA's Cross Country Team practices on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 3:45-5:00.

Our Head Coach for XC is Coach Wong:
Ms. Wong is so excited to be returning for her 2nd year as the cross country coach. Ms. Wong started running in middle school and hasn’t stopped since then! In high school she competed in varsity cross country and track, and was the captain of both teams her senior year. In college, she was coached by Steve Thiessen and ran personal bests of 5:12 (1500), 20:45 (5k), and 24:38 (6k). After college, Ms. Wong started training for marathons and has successfully completed six so far. Her personal best is 3:21:51, which actually qualified her to run the 2017 Boston Marathon! Ms. Wong is so excited for this upcoming season. Her hope is that she can push the team to grow even faster and stronger this year. Looking forward to a great time together!

 

Our assistant coach for XC is Coach Oldani:
Hi everyone! My name is Coach Oldani, and I have been running since I joined "Landsharks" in the 2nd grade. I was a runner for cross-country and/or track all the way through high school and continued to run in my free time, including a few half marathons! I love a good challenge, and sharing my love of the cross-country team spirit with a whole new generation of runners. I cannot wait to jump into this season and get to coach CCA's amazing cross country team alongside Coach Wong.
