I have really enjoyed the financial conversations with students and see it as a great need as many students have minimal information on where to start with many financial concepts. I really enjoy seeing the student growth in their understanding of financial ideas throughout each class and the year overall.

Finance Club Description

Finance Club aims to teach students about basic financial concepts and to get students thinking about how they will manage their finances in the future. Discussion topics include: Checking, Saving, Types of Credit, Managing Credit, Paying for College, Budgeting, Investing, Traditional vs. ROTH IRA, Taxes, Insurance, Cryptocurrency, Consumer Skills, looking at the largest study of millionaires in America, noteworthy financial authors and influencers, case studies, the stock market challenge, and more!
