Troubleshooting Chromebook Performance & Issues:

Reset Chromebook Account: If your Chromebook is experiencing poor device performance, resetting your account can often help.

Clear Browser Cache/Cookies: For issues specifically with the Chrome browser (like websites not loading correctly or slow Browse), clearing your cache and cookies is a good first step.

Reset Battery: If your Chromebook isn't turning on, a battery reset might resolve the issue.

Enable Flash on a website: If a particular website isn't displaying correctly, enabling Flash (if applicable and safe) could be a troubleshooting step.

Getting Help & Providing Information:

HELP page within your Chromebook: To fix a problem on your own, explore the built-in help resources available directly on your Chromebook.

How to Take Screenshots on a Chromebook: Learn how to capture partial or full-screen screenshots, which can be very helpful when seeking troubleshooting assistance from others.

Chromebook How-To's:

Taking a Picture/Video on a Chromebook : Discover how to access and utilize the photo and video features on your Chromebook.

Specific Requests:

Securly Blocked Website - Allow Request : Find information on how to request access to a website that has been blocked by Securly.

 

All students should log out and restart their Chromebooks at least twice a week
